Bigger than a breadbox: Thinking beyond the redesign

For a long time, the website redesign has been the standard of digital reinvention. New look and feel, maybe a new CMS, some snappy taglines and spiffy features — ta-da, all done!

But as institutions grow more complex, their websites sprawl ever larger and digital expectations mount, another redesign may not help you get where you need to go. It's about more than just your main .edu now — it's about the broader digital ecosystem in which it and myriad other digital platforms reside.

The more you can manage your digital products and platforms efficiently, strategically and effectively, the better off your institution will be.

In this talk, Georgy will survey the digital landscape in higher education and how we got here, explore the biggest threats facing universities' digital ecosystems and recommend how to begin working towards greater cohesion.
