After much deliberation, we’re excited to announce our plans for New England Drupal Camp 2020. Mark your calendars for Friday, November 6, 2020, and get ready for a NEDCamp like you’ve never seen before.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’re going fully virtual this year, but with a twist. Instead of the back-to-back sessions of a typical online conference, we’re trying a new format that we’re calling the BOFCon.
As DrupalCon describes, Birds of a Feather (BOFs) are informal gatherings of like-minded individuals who wish to discuss a certain topic with an open conversational format. BOFs are one of the many things that make our global Drupal community so special.
By centering NEDCamp 2020 around virtual BOFs instead of traditional presentations, we hope to recreate the excitement, connections and conversations of our physical camp. We’ll be putting out a call for BOF proposals in the near future, so stay tuned and start thinking of topics.
None of this could happen without our 2020-21 sponsors Oomph, Inc., Redfin Solutions, and Acquia. We’re grateful for their generous support of the New England Drupal community. If your company is interested in helping make NEDCamp a reality, check out our digital sponsorship package for 2020.
For everyone else, sign up for our email updates using the form on this page. You’ll be the first to hear when we open up registration and BOF session submission. In the meantime, we hope you and your families are safe and healthy, and we can’t wait to catch up with you all on November 6!
